Go to work by bike

Assistance in buying a bicycle (a maximum of 1450 Swiss francs per bike) has been a success! 3 months after launching this initiative, more than half of the staff who live in the city of Geneva travel to work by bike during the warmer season, while previously there was only one person cycling every day!

While this measure may entail expense for the company, the advantages will benefit the entire world: apart from the benefits of daily exercise, employees will avoid parking fines, do away with stress, arriving at work relaxed, but above all emitting no pollution on their way to work: a bike emits no CO2, no nitrogen oxide, nor fine particles that are carcinogenic. nor does it cause noise pollution and it helps to improve the flow of traffic.

One of Infomaniakís staff who cycles for a hobby decided to use this form of transport all year round. But the most surprising aspect is that he lives several kilometres outside Geneva! He would take 30 minutes by car but the distance was no obstacle for him. His journey time didnít suffer too much as result of this change: he now needs 40 minutes to get to work.
